A: Healthy skin
In healthy skin, the fibroblasts are healthy and the upper-most layer of the skin is firm and even.
B: Aged skin
1. Fibroblasts are present in the dermis and produce collagen and elastin. As we age, the fibroblasts naturally become less active and exposure to sunlight compromises them even further. Therefore, the subcutaneous layer of the skin starts to sag as this layer no longer provides the necessary support to the skin.
2. Because less collagen and elastin is produced by the fibroblasts, the skin becomes thinner and the epidermis starts losing its natural moisturizing factors (NMF).
3. As the epidermis sags, wrinkles and fines lines form and become visible on the surface of the skin.

Alpha Hydroxy Toner may assist in promoting the skin’s natural acid mantle and helps to refine the texture of the skin by encouraging exfoliation.
Application steps
1. Pre-cleanse and cleanse with your preferred Environ products.
2. Moisten cotton wool with the Concentrated Alpha Hydroxy Toner and apply to the skin.
3. Follow with your recommended Environ vitamin A moisturiser.
4. Use morning and evening.
5. Should you feel a slight tingling sensation, dampen the cotton wool with water to dilute the toner before application.

Tri BioBotanical Revival Masque
Helps to improve the overall appearance of ageing skin with this “facelift in a jar”
The Revival Masque may assist in enhancing the skin’s overall look and feel, as well as resilience. This dynamic mask leaves the skin feeling smoother and looking younger with a healthy radiance.
Application steps
This product can be applied as a 10-20 minute mask or as an overnight mask.
As a 10-20 minute mask (gradually building up to 20 minutes)
1. Pre-cleanse, cleanse and tone with your preferred Environ products.
2. Using the brush provided, apply an even thin layer of the product onto the skin.
3. Leave on the skin for 10-20 minutes (start by using twice a week).
4. Rinse with tepid water.
